The Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service (LIVES) operates in rural Lincolnshire. LIVES Medics & First Responders are all volunteers who give up their time to respond to emergencies in their community. When someone dials 999 in Lincolnshire, not only will an ambulance be mobilised, but at the same time, the LIVES Medic or Responder on call in that area will also receive notification that someone needs their help.

Stephen Hyde at LIVES met up with Darren Hardisty and Martin Lenton, Directors at Workflow, to discuss the idea of improving LIVES copying and printing requirements. In addition, LIVES were looking to reduce their in-house production costs as money was vital for the organisation as it continued to expand.

Martin said ‘Our visit to LIVES made us realise just how important they are to Lincolnshire. When we heard how many 999 calls they go to in a year and how many lives they help to save, we were glad to be helping them.’

After assessing their requirements it was obvious that Workflow would be able to deliver LIVES requirements and in the process offer a quality and reliable service, so new multi functional devices and printers were subsequently installed.

Stephen said ‘It is a pleasure working with Workflow, they are highly effective and thorough. An engineer pops in whenever they are nearby just to check everything is how we need it. They have made all our printing and copying processes bespoke. Their automated toner ordering and delivery system is fantastic.’
